Sometimes your hvac system can be tricky. Especially so when you have a Generac- as I do. They diagnosed and fixed quickly. No charges for a trip where it ended in a non repair. Some places have minimums for a trip that was fruitless. HVAC is already expensive work. It can get worse with petty and unnecessary charges. I used to be in the hvac bus.

I Performed Maintenance on both the Cooling Systems. Also replaced a 20x30 and 3) 14x24 Filters. Both Cooling Systems are 2023 Heat Pump models located on the ground. Both Cooling Systems checked out operational and within manufactures specifications at the time of the service.
Advised client on product availability, requoted for 14 seer. Client has accepted the 14 seer quote.
Upon arrival turned system on condenser working and cooling checked capacitor in range did advise client if is happens again leave system on to diagnose system
Replaced breakers for master bed/bath with arc fault breakers and properly connected neutrals
Performed annual cooling maintenance on 1 2006 American standard split system r22. Washed filter, clear condensation lines. Cycled system in cooling. Check capacitor, LRA, rla and Fla. check refrigerant pressures temp splits washed condenser coils. Equipment is cooling properly at this time.
Performed annual maintenance in cooling on a Lennox 3 ton location rooftop, followed sequence of operation. Left filter behind. Checked amp voltage capacitor working at range. Checked inrush was high installed compressor savor checked pressures were low. Added 4 pounds of 410 a. We will monitor system cleared condensation line rinsed condenser down unit is working to manufacture, specification in cooling
I Performed Maintenance on both the Cooling Systems. Also replaced 2)24x24 and 18x18 filters. Both the Cooling Systems are 2018 and 2020 models located on the ground. I also found that the dual run capacitor and hard start for the Trane 3 ton unit (s#GS4F) tested weak and no good. I recommended and installed new dual run capacitor and hard start kit and tested the system. Both Cooling Systems checked out operational and within manufactures specifications at the time of the service.
Upon arrival serial % 85F wasn’t working after further inspection found capacitor reading 0 Replace capacitor for serial # 7407 and 85F,,,,also added compressor saver x 2 after installing capacitor for serial # 85F noticed no power to system found breaker trip reset breaker,,,,breaker keeps tripping check unit found compressor grounded call Howard to order compressor we should be getting compressor on Monday

I advised client that the main house unit start up amps on the compressor are rated for 104 and we are getting 118. Recommended installing a hard start kit to reduce compressor start up amps. Sent client estimate for it. The system checked out operational at the time of the service.

Got with Fujitsu tech support and they said to start by recycling power from breaker for 2-5 minutes until voltage dissipated. Generac smart module not passing 240v across internal contactor. 240v line side, 0v load
Explained adapter for mini split, there was some confusion on if he was having to buy adapter. I informed it is a tool that I have that I will use to check and adjust refrigerant as needed for garage ductless
Perform a cooling maintenance on a 2004 R22 system unit. Check she going of operations by checking out all electrical and refrigeration levels as shown in pictures at this time system is pulling down the house properly informed client about the age and condition of unit. Client understands maintenance by washing down condenser unit.
